Deaf HERstory Exhibit Opens at Gallaudet

The grand opening of Gallaudet University Museum's latest exhibit, Deaf HERstory, will take place on September 29, 2015 at 12:30 p.m in the Museum Annex in JSAC. The exhibit traces the history and lives of Deaf women in the United States, examining their stories through the lenses of Women's Lives, Education, Movement and Action, and Overcoming Struggle. The magnificient HERstory exhibit also features important historical tidbits of O.W.L.S. and the Phi Kappa Zeta Sorority.

The opening will feature several speakers including Sisters Vicki Hurwitz, Dr. Jane Norman, and Dr. Arlene Blumenthal Kelly.
